In the midst of all these uncertainties and confusions, the first Fuchsia code came out without any simple statement which has been issued by Google. Despite having well-known names, the Fuchsia is being developed in a very discreet manner and without any kind of information from Google. This new operating system does not have a specific destination, but many think it may allocate the IoT and all new systems that will bring. The Fuchsia is, from the outset, available on GitHub and Google Source, but, Google made it available without any information about their usefulness or their future. Information is scarce and their managers are limited to the minimum reveal, only ever related to the developments that are being made. The innovation now is that the Fuchsia already have a large part of its available and functional code, and its leaders revealed in the IRC channel that this new operating system runs already well in NUCs Broadwell and Skylake NUCs and Acer Switch Alpha 12, if and in the latter, supporting drivers are still being created. There is also talk that, very soon, support for the Raspberry Pi 3 will be also created. Much speculates applications of this new operating system. There are both state that it will be the replacement of either the Android or Chrome OS, but probably will not be anything like that, being dedicated to IoT devices only. The Fuchsia is an operating system based on Magenta and does not make use of the Linux kernel as other OSes of Google.
